Make a change in habits!
How many of us at work stare at a computer screen for hours on end, day after day, eyes going blurry, teetering towards the onset of carpal tunnel…
…just to occasionally give ourselves a well-needed break…by staring at a smaller, handheld screen for 10-15 mins. 📱
I’m guilty of this too. 😅
Surely there are better ways of recharging that don’t involve doom-scrolling through a load of superficial nonsense, political propaganda, and commercial brainwashing! ❌💼

Make a change in habits, and give these a try:
📖 Have a novel nearby that you can dip into for 15 minutes
🚶♂️ Take a walk outside
🧘 Meditate (try to think of absolutely nothing for an extended period…and if that’s a struggle, just start with focusing on your breathing/heartbeat)
🎵 Listen to some music, a podcast, a bit of stand-up comedy, or maybe an audiobook
📚 Have a puzzle book handy
🧘♂️ Roll out a yoga mat and have a stretch
😴 If your work environment permits it…have a ‘short’ nap!
🃏 Or play a card/board game on your own or with colleagues
