Don’t fall into the excess trap!
In a world where more is often equated with better, it's easy to fall into the trap of excess.
Whether it's working too much, having too much time off, eating too much, drinking too much, or even sleeping too much, the old adage holds true:
Anything in excess can be a poison. 🚫💀
Consider the diligent workaholic who spends endless hours at the office, sacrificing personal time and relationships for the pursuit of professional success. While their dedication may lead to career advancements and financial rewards, it often comes at the cost of burnout, strained relationships, and diminished overall well-being. 😩📉
Similarly, someone who indulges in excessive leisure time may find themselves feeling aimless, unfulfilled, and disconnected from reality. 🕰️🌴
People talk about avoiding the pitfalls of working yourself into an early grave…but the same could be said for having too much free time, a lack of focus/ mission, and having a general absence of activity.
Work-life balance goes both ways, and a change is often as good as a break, so don’t be too quick to permanently label work as a ‘chore’, you've just got to find the right 'work'.
