Everybody comes to LinkedIn for their own reasons….a bit like a pub I guess! 🍻

Maybe you’re looking to network, sell, solicit, market, publicise, innovate, inspire, support, research, recruit, influence (or creep onto people like some ‘undesirables’ choose to do 🤢)

Could be you’re just trying to bring a bit of brightness to your day by breaking the monotony of whatever it is you’re doing

Perhaps you’re on your break, and you don’t have a Facebook network, so LinkedIn is your main avenue for social reach

If a post brings people together and gets them talking, is that such a bad thing?

Maybe the more serious ‘business talk’ and ‘added value’ comes later on…..

I mean does anybody really enjoy a hard sell?

Should we ban small talk and any attempt at humour at business lunches & networking events too? 🤐

Got to be careful, smiling at work is forbidden remember! 😐

“If you have something witty or comical to share….save it for this year’s Christmas party!” (if there is one)

We’re all here to network in some way or other, so if it gets the conversation & engagement going….I think it has its place here
