Wow, that went quickly!

As I'm sure this is echoed by many others who have embarked on a similar journey…despite the many challenges of setting up a Headhunting company, I wish I’d done this sooner.

(It’s not for everyone of course, and comes with a fair helping of anxiety).

Our network has now grown to around 10,000 HVACR, BMS & Industrial Cooling professionals. The phone is ringing, and there’s no shortage of work….so I’m incredibly grateful that it seems to be gathering some momentum.

I saw this quote once, and it seems appropriate:

“Build your own dreams or someone else will hire you to build theirs”.

Now building and setting up my own specialist headhunting company definitely wasn't really ever a ‘dream’ of mine…BUT having the time, energy and resources to invest in my family, is my dream!

With 3 young children, and 2 elderly parents (one of whom continues to need end of life care), the flexibility to be available for them this last 12 months has been amazing.

At the drop of a hat I’ve been able to make time for school events, sick days, hospital trips, teacher training days, nativities, dance/ choir shows, and just quality interactions.

Something I just couldn’t have done had I been working for someone else.

There are some financial benefits to starting your company, and that correlates with helping solve my clients problems (so everyone’s a winner)...but I can honestly say the most life changing benefit has been my general happiness.

Despite dealing with an avalanche of crises, spinning a ridiculous amount of plates, seeing some smash, and working more hours than anticipated…

I’ve never felt better. I guess when you have tunnel vision on the right things, it all clicks into place.
